Ref/color guide of Nyx, my ROBOT BALLERINA character! >:O Her weapons are twin blades that look like swans. The black one is called Dulcinea and the white one is called Drosselmeyer. She has total Raggedy Ann eyelashes. And she always walks around en pointe. (Though it’s notable that she can stand normally, too. She has to be able to plié, after all ;D) Bsdsakdlmkds it’s so messy… and I struggled with the anatomy a bit… >w> *melts* Anyway here’s a little bit of background. Nyx was created by a man who makes life size dolls, which are intended for use as servants, assistants, entertainment, companionship, and the like. Nyx is a special model though, designed to be a surrogate daughter to the man, who never had children of his own. He used special unauthorized technologies in an attempt to make her more human-like, especially in her ability to react as if she had emotions, but she wasn’t perfect yet. Still, she danced ballet and kept the man company as he worked. One day, though, the man mysteriously died. Nyx was picked up by the government, which recognized the value of the technology in her and trained her as a combat unit. With her master gone, she now follows her new owners’ orders mindlessly, with seemingly no purpose for existence…
